Current warnings, calendar week 31 – 2026
Between mid- and late July 2026, we tested a number of substances of particular concern to public health as part of our in-person drug-checking service. Several tablets sold as ecstasy contained ingredients other than the expected MDMA. One tablet contained PMMAanother N-Ethylpentedron and another tablet contained, instead of MDMA, a unknown substance. In a sample submitted as cannabis, the synthetic cannabinoids MDMB-INACA, ADB-4en-PINACA, MDMB-4en-PINACA, 5F-MDMB-PINACA identified. A sample submitted as cocaine contained only Procaine. Furthermore, cathinone was detected in both a sample submitted as 3-MMC and one submitted as 4-MMC N-Ethylpentedron identified. A substance sold as ‘Tusibi – pink Cocaine’ contained, in addition to MDMA, Ketamine, Caffeine and 2C-B also a unknown substance.
