Current warnings January 2016

WarnungSince the beginning of January 2016, we have analysed a range of different psychoactive substances. In addition to a large number of high-dose ecstasy tablets, several new synthetic substances (NPS) were again identified in "classic" recreational drugs. Clephedrone (4-CMC) was found in a tablet sold as ecstasy and in several samples sold as MDMA. Furthermore, the new synthetic substances 4-Fluoroamphetamine (4-FA) and 3-Methylmethcathinone (3-MMC) were detected in samples brought for analysis as speed. In a trip sold as LSD, the strongly hallucinogenic phenethylamines 25C-NBOMe and 25I-NBOMe identified. Other NPS that were unexpectedly detected in samples were: Penthylon, methiopropamine (MPA), methoxphenidine (MXP), flephedrone and 4-ethylmethcathinone (4-EMC).

All details on the samples classified as high-dose, unexpected or of particular health concern can be found at here.
