PMMA sold as XTC
Our colleagues from Safer Party from Switzerland have identified the substance paramethoxymethamphetamine (PMMA) in an ecstasy tablet, which poses a particular health risk. This is a pink tablet that is exclusively PMMA contained. The logo of the tablets in question is the Rolex - symbol. The exact description of the tablets and further information can be found here.
There have been repeated PMMA/PMA warnings across Europe in the past - we also found PMMA/PMMA in various substances last year. If you decide to consume synthetic substances - despite the health and legal risks, Have your substances tested! If this is not possible, follow the safer use rules: test carefully, wait for the effect, don't top up straight away! You can find more information on PMA/PMMA here here.

Current warnings September 2013
Since the beginning of September, we have tested a number of supposedly psychoactive substances, several of which had to be warned against due to particularly harmful ingredients. New synthetic substances (such as 25I-NBOMe, 25B-NBOMe and Propylamphetamine) were again detected in samples sold as classic recreational drugs. You can find detailed information on all the high-dose, unexpected and particularly harmful results here here.

25B-NBOMe sold as LSD
At the end of August, Checkit! tested a supposed LSD trip ("Hofmann"), which, in addition to Amphetamine and MDMA traces also two unknown substances contained. Subsequent analysis revealed that one of these unknown substances was the new psychoactive substance 25B-NBOMe is involved. Earlier this year, we tested "Hofmann" trips sold as LSD, which contained a similar new synthetic substance - 25I-NBOMe - instead of LSD. You can find more information on this here.
25B-NBOMe belongs to the group of phenethylamines (such as amphetamine and MDMA) and is a derivative of 2C-B. It has a strong hallucinogenic effect and is still very little researched. According to user reports, the effect occurs even in very small quantities (microgram range!), which makes dosing difficult and increases the risk of overdoses. Phenethylamines have a very strong effect on the cardiovascular system, which means that overdoses can also have dangerous consequences on a physical level. 25B-NBOMe has a vasoconstrictive effect, which can be particularly dangerous at high doses (increased heart rate, increased body temperature and increased blood pressure). The combination with other substances can also lead to interactions that increase the risk of negative effects and/or overdoses.
If you decide to use synthetic substances despite the health and legal risks, have your substances tested if possible. You can find dates here. If this is not possible, test carefully and wait for the effect!
