Drug checking suspension from 1 December 2025 to 7 January 2026
We have been working intensively behind the scenes to improve our workflows. In order to implement these changes, we need to pause the analysis for a while so that everything can be brought up to date.
Specifically, this means:
- Drug checking via pharmacies:
The last registration for pharmacy codes is possible on 27 November. The last submission deadline is 1 December at 8:00 a.m.
IMPORTANT: All codes created to date will lose their validity on 1 December. This means that if you have not yet submitted a sample that you have already registered, you must do so by 8:00 a.m. on 1 December. After that, samples with old sample codes can no longer be analysed!
- Drug checking service at the counselling centre:
The last day for submitting applications to the advice centre is 28 November.
The samples submitted will then be analysed in the following week.
Expected end of the suspension:
The lockdown is expected to end on 7 January 2026. This means that from then on, you will once again be able to register samples for collection at pharmacies using our new tool, and from 8 January onwards, you will be able to drop off your samples at the advice centre as usual.
As major changes can sometimes cause things to not go according to plan, we reserve the right to extend the suspension if necessary.
You can get updates on this on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook) and here on the website.
New Year's Eve check:
On 30 December, we will suspend the closure and be there for you with drug checking, information and advice during the New Year's Eve check! More information to follow 😊
