2 C-B
2C-B is a psychedelic whose effects are often described as a mixture of MDMA and LSD. It is usually consumed orally and comes in powder or pill form. At low doses, the entactogenic effects dominate (own feelings and moods are intensified); at higher doses, visual perceptual changes also occur. Just a few milligrams can make a big difference.
2C-B is classified as a hallucinogen and aphrodisiac. The effect of 2C-B is highly dose-dependent. Just a few milligrams can have a strong influence on the effect. Consumers often describe the typical effect as a combination of the effects of LSD and MDMA. 2C-B can also have a mildly stimulating and performance-enhancing effect. Slight euphoria, cheerfulness and an increased urge to laugh can occur and touch can be perceived more intensely.
Consumers report a warm, pleasant body sensation, although extreme feelings of cold and/or heat are also possible. 2C-B can change sensory perception. In particular, seeing, hearing, feeling and tasting can be perceived more sensitively. Optical (pseudo-)hallucinations can be perceived with open and closed eyes. Typical optical effects are structured, kaleidoscope-like patterns, but also distortions and flowing shapes. Consumers report colour intensifications or colour shifts.
High doses in particular can also cause uncertainty, fear, anxiety, disorientation and confusion. Consumers report nausea, stomach problems, diarrhoea, cramps and flatulence.
Nasal application often causes a strong burning sensation on the nasal mucosa during the first 10 minutes after consumption.
After consumption, there may be an increase in blood pressure and body temperature and an accelerated heart rate. Some users report involuntary erections.
2C-B Fly and 2C-B Dragonfly are rare, but can also be found on the market. The chemical structure of both substances differs only slightly from 2C-B, although their effect is more potent than that of 2C-B. Both substances have hardly been researched so far; we therefore advise particular caution!
2C-B can be consumed orally or nasally, whereby the dose depends on the body weight, gender and daily condition of the consumer. The dose of 2C-B required to achieve the desired effects is very low and depends on the form of administration!
Oral consumption of 5-15 mg is considered a light dosage, between 15-30 mg a normal dosage and between 25-50 mg a strong dosage. Nasal consumption requires a much lower dose, about half the oral dose, to produce the same effects.
When consumed orally, the onset of action occurs after approx. 20-30 minutes; the maximum effect is reached after approx. 1.5 hours. The effect lasts for approx. 4-8 hours and then subsides relatively quickly within approx. one hour. Mild after-effects can still be felt over a period of approx. 2-4 hours.
2 C-B enters the bloodstream via the mucous membranes (mouth, nose) or the stomach. Due to the chemical similarity to DOB, the same mechanism of action can be assumed. It can be assumed that 2 C-B, like many other hallucinogens, influences the serotonin receptors and thus causes the typical effects. Serotonin influences mood, tiredness/activity, appetite, sex drive and body temperature. The consumption of 2C-B is also likely to result in an increased release of the neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenaline (catecholamines).
No long-term effects are currently known in relation to 2 C-B. It can be assumed that possible negative long-term effects are comparable to those of other hallucinogens. The probability of developing a physical or psychological dependence on 2C-B is considered to be rather low. Altered perception, particularly intense experiences and adventures can trigger anxiety, panic and confusion. Frequent consumption of 2C-B can trigger mental illnesses such as anxiety disorders, schizophrenia and depression in people who are easily susceptible to them. It is difficult to determine in advance who is prone to mental illness. If there is a family history of mental illness, we advise against consumption. Nasal consumption, especially over a longer period of time, can permanently damage the nasal mucosa.
- Insecurity, anxiety, if you are feeling unwell or if you are suffering from physical problems. As hallucinogenic substances generally enhance your mood, refrain from using them if you are not feeling well!

If you consume 2 C-B despite the health and legal risks, you should be well acquainted with the effects and possible dangers and be aware of the following points:
2 C-B has very strong hallucinogenic properties, especially in high doses. Only consume in pleasant, quiet surroundings, in which you feel safe and comfortableto consume. Use with friends who can offer each other support and who you can rely on. Talk about it beforehand and don't leave the other person alone.
Oral consumption is probably the Lowest-risk form of consumption of 2C-B. There is hardly any risk of becoming infected with communicable diseases. Bear in mind, however, that the dose cannot be reduced after ingestion - so initially take a small dose and wait for the effect.
If 2 C-B is consumed nasally, a much smaller amount is required to achieve the desired effects. The onset of action is faster. Dose carefully! Take only one small quantity of the substance to test its effect on you and your body. In this way, you can reduce some of the negative effects that are likely, especially with high doses, and protect yourself from overdosing.
The effect is highly dose-dependent. Just a few milligrams can trigger a considerable increase in effect. So dose with particular care!
2 C-B is a relatively short-acting but highly effective substance. Take plenty of time to process the experience and give yourself enough rest after consumption.
2 C-B is an aphrodisiac and can therefore intensify your sensations and release inhibitions. Don't forget to protect yourself and your partner during sex and use condoms.
2 C-B (4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine) is a white powder, comes in tablet and capsule form and is also known by the street names Nexus, Bees, Venus and Bromo Mescaline. It is a purely synthetic substance and belongs to the ß-phenethylamine group. Structurally, 2 C-B is very similar to DOB (2,5-dimethoxy-4-bromoamphetamine).
2 C-B is covered by the Narcotic Substances Act (SMG). The acquisition, possession, import and export, transfer to and procurement for others (transfer and sale) are punishable by law. Consumers who violate the SMG must expect a mandatory visit to a public health officer (in Vienna: the Ambulatorium der Sucht- und Drogenkoordination - ASDW). Health-related measures can then be ordered there. If you adhere to these requirements, there will be no court proceedings.
