Current warnings week 8 - 2023
In February 2023, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. In one sample submitted as speed, several unexpected substances were detected in addition to amphetamine. In another sample submitted as speed Cocaine detected. In a sample passed off as cannabis, the synthetic cannabinoid MDMB-4en-PINACA were detected in two further cannabis samples, one unknown substance found.

Warning: Ecstasy with AMT
In the first two weeks of February 2023, checkit! has been selling four ecstasy tablets with different logos α-Methyltryptamine (AMT) identified. All tablets also contained caffeine and one of them also contained the synthetic cathinone Eutylon (bk-EBDB). The tablets are currently in circulation in Vienna. We advise against the consumption of these tablets!

Current warnings week 6 - 2023
At the end of January 2023, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern during stationary and mobile drug checking at an event. In addition to some (very) high-dose ecstasy tablets, tablets with unexpected ingredients were also tested, including MDMA, caffeine and two unknown substancesanother with Amphetamine, caffeine, clephedrone (4-CMC) and an unknown substance. On four different LSD trips Unknown substances detected. One tablet dispensed as 2C-B contained, in addition to the expected ingredient α-PiHP. Three samples submitted as mephedrone (4-MMC) instead contained one or more other synthetic cathinones.

Current warnings KW 4 - 2023
At the beginning of January 2023, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. In addition to cannabis, a sample submitted for analysis as cannabis also contained the synthetic cannabinoid Cumyl-CH-MeGaClone detected. A sample submitted as ecstasy contained, in addition to the expected MDMA, a unknown substance. In a sample submitted as LSD, in addition to LSD, a unknown substance analysed. One sample submitted for analysis as GHB contained a unknown substance. In addition to the expected ingredients, a heroin sample also contained Caffeine, paracetamol and three unknown substances .

Current warnings week 3 - 2023
At the end of December 2022 / beginning of January 2023, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. A liquid sample submitted for analysis as speed contained the following substance instead of the expected amphetamine GBL (γ-butyrolactone). In addition to 2C-B, a tablet submitted for analysis as 2C-B also contained the new psychoactive substance α-PiHP was detected. In addition, a mephedrone sample was found to contain mephedrone with 3-CMC (Clophedrone) an additional synthetic cathinone was identified.

Current warnings KW 49 - 2022
At the end of November 2022, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. In addition to the expected substances, one heroin sample also contained Paracetamol, caffeine and four unknown substances. A sample submitted as 3-MMC instead contained 3-CMC (Clophedrone)another only contained cocaine. Some cocaine samples contained various extenders, including, for example, one with Phenacetin, procaine and methylphenidate.

Current warnings week 47 - 2022
In November 2022, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. Two ecstasy tablets were found to contain amphetamine instead of MDMA. Another ecstasy tablet contained caffeine in addition to MDMA. A pink powder delivered as 2C-B contained ketamine and MDMA instead. A sample delivered as crack cocaine contained procaine and an unknown substance in addition to cocaine. Two samples handed in as mephedrone (4-MMC) contained 3-CMC (clophedrone) instead, the other sample also contained levamisole in addition to mephedrone.

Current warnings week 45 - 2022
At the end of October 2022, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern. In addition to several high-dose ecstasy tablets, caffeine was detected in two tablets in addition to MDMA. An extremely high MDMA content was detected in one ecstasy tablet. In a sample submitted as mephedrone, 3-CMC and iso-3-CMC were detected instead.

Current warnings week 43 - 2022
In October 2022, we tested a number of substances of particular health concern during inpatient drug checking and at an event. In addition to some (very) high-dose ecstasy tablets, synthetic cathinones (3-CMC or 4-CMC) were identified in four tablets alongside MDMA. Another ecstasy tablet contained only caffeine, another the opioid buprenorphine. The new psychoactive substance 2-fluorodeschloroketamine was detected in a sample dispensed as ketamine. Furthermore, a sample dispensed as cannabis contained the synthetic cannabinoid MDMB-4en-PINACA.
